GAME HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2007/08 SEASON
 
11/28/06:  2-8 Loss vs. Monsignor Farrell
This game was was a 2-1 deficit in the third period when the Lions broke it open.  We saw some very good things from our young team and expect good things going forward.  Eddie Pyskaty scored both goals for the Raiders and Artie Haase played well in goal. 
12/9/07: 2-3 Loss vs. Regnegades
The Raiders lost a close game to an older more experienced team and showed tremendous improvement.  Artie Haase was strong in goal and the Raiders got goals from Brandon Hodes and Nick Haase.
 
ASTON H.S. TOURNAMENT
12/26/07: 6-3 Win vs. Moorestown Quakers
The JV open the Holiday tournament with a strong 6-3 Win vs. the Quakers.  Player of the game went to Eddie Pyskaty for his overall game and leading the offense with 2 goals and an assist.  Mitch Ganz  had a goal and an assist and Nick Haase, Martin Bernstein and Mike Cammassa had goals. 
12/26/07: 7-1 Win vs. Chichester
The Raiders continued their strong, improved play in this win.  The offense was led by Nick Haase with two goals and Eddie Pyskaty with a goal and an assist.  The entire defensive unit played well.
12/27/07: 5-0 Win vs. Roman Catholic
The shutout and "Player of the Game" went to Steve Bonora in goal.  The team defensive play was outstanding.  Eddie Pyskaty earned a game puck with his "Hat Trick".

The Raiders finished Round-Robin play seeded first.
12/27/07: PLAYOFFS: 2-4 loss vs. Roman Catholic
The Raiders were knocked out of the playoffs in this re-match.  The JV made a late run as they increased their intensity and sense of urgency, but ran out of time.
The coaching staff is impressed by the team's play and improvement.  We expect even more going forward.
 
1/16/08: 9-1 Win vs. Mainland
The Raiders played a complete game, outshooting Mainland 42-19 in the win.  "Player of the Game" was shared by Ronald Rucinski for his "Hat Trick" and Theo Silverberg for his overall game.  'Crusher" award went to Mitch Ganz.

1/25/08: 3-1 Win vs. Mainland
"Player of the Game" was shared by goaltender Stephen Bonora and Forward Eddie Pyskaty.  Bonora was strong in net and Pyskaty led the offense with a goal and two assists.
1/28/08: 5-3 Win vs. Monsignor Farrell
The Raiders rebounded from a 3-1 deficit and earned this win with three third period goals.  "Player of the Game" went to Brandon Hodes who had a goal and an assist.  The JV squad proved how hard they have worked this season by beating the team they lost to by a score of 8-2 in the season opener.
1/30/08: 7-3 Win vs. St Joe's (S.I.)
The Raiders out shot the Vikings 35-16 and the entire defense - Weinstein, Mckenzie, Francia, Silverberg, Bernstein and Lindenbaum - played a strong game.  "Player of the Game" went to Tyler Blum for his two goals and all around game.  "Crusher" was shared by Robert Lindenbaum and Andrew McKenzie.

2/6/08: 8-1 Win vs. S.I. Select
Shots were 35-17 for the Raiders who got solid play from everyone and scoring from many different players.

2/8/08: 9-0 Win vs. S.I. Select
The Raiders controlled the game, outshootingtheir opponents 44-18.  Goalie Steven Bonora got the "Player of the Game" for the shutout.  Brandon Hodes and Nick Haase led the offense, each recording a "Hat Trick".

2/9/08: 3-4 Loss vs. Brick
The Raiders hit the post in the final minute and just fell short in a well played, competitive game.  Artie Haase played well in goal and scoring came from Paul Camarda, Brian George, and Ronald Rucinski.
2/10/08: 3-0 Win vs. Govenor Livingston
The JV continues to play well and improve as the season moves forward.  The Raiders took 48 shots and forced the action from beginning to end.  "Player of the Game" was shared between Eddie Pyskaty, who scored twice, and Michael Camassa, who receive the honor for his all-around game.
2/13/08: 6-0 Win vs. St. Joe's Vikings
Reid Lacognata opened the scoring and the line of Tyler Wolf, Ronald Rucinski, and Eddie Pyskaty put the game away with a three goal shift in the third period.  "Player of the Game" went to Tyler Wolf and honorable mention went to Eddie Pyskaty.  Steven Bonora got the shut out with help from a strong, team defensive effort.  The Raiders recorder 21 shots in the third period.

2/16/08 1-6 Loss vs. Brick H.C.
Nick Haase scored the lone Raider goal in this loss.  The JV intends to use this as a learning experience heading into their season ending tournament.
 
JOHN PAYNE TOURNAMENT - HOLLYDELL
2/23/08: 0-3 Loss vs. Bishop Eustace
The Raiders lacked their usual jump and were outplayed by Eustace.  The Raiders look forward to rebounding from this effort.
2/23/08: 1-1 Tie vs. Gloucester Catholic
The Raiders out shot their opponents 28-16, includung 17 -3 in the third period, but could not find the back of the net until there was a half second left in the game.  With 12.7 seconds left in the game and a face-off in the Raider zone, Eddie Pyskaty went end to end to tie the score and earn "Player of the Game".  This was the effort we have come to expect.
2/24/08: 8-2 Win vs. Clearview
After falling behind 2-0 after the first period, the Raiders responded with eight consecutive goals.    Eddie Pyskaty led the offense with 4 goals.  Michael Camassa, Brandon Hodes, Reid Lacognata, and Jonathon Weinstein added the other goals and Theo Silverberg had two assists.  Mark Benson received "Player of the Game" from his teammates.
2/24/08: 7-0 Win vs. Black Horse
The Raiders needed a win to advance to the championship and responded with a big effort.  They held their opponents to 12 shots on goal and Eddie Pyskaty and Tyler Blum took care of the offense.  Eddie Pyskaty received the "Player of the Game."

2/24/08: CHAMPIONSHIP: 1-2 Loss vs. Bishop Eustace
The Raiders took a first period lead but fell just short in this tight game, which was the third of the day for the Riaders.  The coaching staff was extremely proud ofthe Raider effort.
