Several Current Raiders Players participated in the
2010 IJHL Jr. A National Tournament and were CHAMPIONS!!!
Another tremendously successful season has been completed. The coaching staff wishes to congratulate all the players. The
Raiders push their players to succeed at levels that test their limits and the 2009/10 Raiders responded to the
challenge. The coaching staff is proud of their team which always competed and met the challenges presented to
them.
The scrimmage, while not competitive, showed the Raiders what it takes to compete at a high level college program.
It exposed them to another level of play that they had not yet seen and gave them further insight into what is required
to play at that level.
A very warm and sincere THANK YOU to the Rider Universiy coaching staff and its players. The Raiders met several
players, including the Rider University team captains, who led players and parents on a full tour of the their beautiful campus.
Our tour guides did a wonderful job explaining what the University has to offer academically, socially, and athletically.
We then suited up for a non-checking exhibition game. This was a fast paced game allowing players to showcase their
abilities. Coach Gerry and his staff were warm and gracious to our players and we hope to continue this tradition
with them.

Varsity ended their season with a 13-7-2 record. They played a demanding schedule and showed improvement
individually, and as a team through-out the year. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the manner in which this
young team, having only three seniors, conducted itself and the way in which they went about playing as a team.
Our three seniors, Josh Rifkin, Chuck DeMarino, and Joe McCarty displayed the leadership needed for this
team. All three were with us from our opening season and the staff wishes them well in the future. The coaching
staff hopes that graduating players will stay in touch with us.
CONGRATULATIONS JV LEAGUE CHAMPS!!
The Raider JV won the league Championship game, defeating Middletown North 5-1. They had beaten
Wall 2-1 in the semi-finals.
JV finished their league season in 2nd place with an 8-2-2 record. They finished with an overall
season record of 13-3-4 and they ended their sesaon with a eleven game unbeaten streak. The coaching staff
is extremely proud of the team's composure and their team first attitude.
