Strong effort by the Raiders outshooting the Lions 41 to 21. Player of the game went to Adam Cohen
for his Hat Trick. Strong defensive game by Chris Francia and Jonathon Weinstein. Offensive support cane from
Nick Peras (2g) Billy Acquaviva (3a) and Kevin Collins (1g, 2a)
12/12/07: 7-0 Win vs. Monsignor Farrell
The Raiders swept the two game series vs. the Lions with a solid all around game. The offense was
led by Player of the Game, Jared Antman with a goal and an assist. The entire defensive unit including goaltenders played
well in this shutout win.

12/15/07:2-4 Loss vs. Old Bridge Jr. Knights
The Raiders lost for the first time this season. They got strong efforts from Paul Camarda, who
played forward and D, and added a goal and Shawn Herrmann who was strong between the pipes.
12/19/07: 2-1 Win vs. St. Joes (S.I)
Both teams played well in this tight, intense, evenly matched game. Player of the game went to
goalie Ciro Saverino with 32 saves. The offense was led by Jared Antmand with a goal and an assist and Dillon Balsamo
added the game winner. Nick Peras and David Rubin share the "Crusher" award.
Aston H.S. Tournament
12/26/07: 8-0 Win vs. Washington Twp.
The Raiders dominated this contest led by Michael Gallagher's "Hat Trick" that earned him Player
of the Game. Ciro Saverino recorded the shutout.

12/26/07: 6-8 loss vs. Timber Creek
The Raiders started strong, taking a two goal lead after the first period before faltering in
the third period against an older more experienced opponent.

12/27/07: 2-10 Loss vs. Sun Valley
The Raiders were hit by numerous injuries and surrendered 5 goals in the third period.
Three late third period goals by Sun Valley distorted the final score. Joe Giuliana played well in goal (despite the
score). Pat Rubenstein and Kevin Collins scored for the Raiders.
The Raiders finished the Round-Robin seeded third.
12/27/07: PLAYOFFS: 2-3 Shoot-out loss vs.Timber Creek
The Raiders rebounded well but lost a fun, exciting game 3-2 in a shoot-out. Ciro Saverino
was excellent in goal and Nick Lisciandro scored both for the Raiders, including a penalty shot.
1/9/08: 8-3 Win vs. Mainland
Kevin Collins received the "Player of the Game" with 2 goals and 2 assists. The "Crusher"
award went to Nick Peras The Raiders put the game away with a 5 goal second period.

1/13/08: 3-9 Loss vs. Penguins
The Raiders lost to a strong, higher level Penguin team. Coach Kiernnan was happy
with the effort.

1/22/08: 1-4 Loss vs. Lawrenceville JV
The Raiders skated with and out shot the "Big Red" 21-14, but had trouble finishing Dillon
Balsomo scored for the Raiders.
1/25/08: 5-2 Win vs. Penguins
This was a terrific win by the Raiders after some tough losses. The team effort was rewarded.
"Player of the Game" was shared by Dillon Balsamo, who had two goals, and Ciro Saverino, who was strong between the pipes.
"Crusher" award went to David Rubin.
1/30/08: 2-2 Tie vs. St. Joe's (S.I)
The Raiders tied this game with a goal late in the game and out shot the Vikings 19-3
in the third period. Billy Aquaviva and Joe Bellotti shared "Player of the Game" and Shawn Herrmann played well in goal.
These two teams were well matched in this series.
2/2/08: 8-3 Win vs, Mainland
The Raiders withstood an early assault from Mainland and took control of the game with a
48-25 shot advantage. Darnell Millberry received the "Player of the Game" for his all around play.

2/6/08: 1-3 Loss vs. Jr. Knights
The Raiders got their only goal from Marc Moskowitz and got solid play from goaltender Joe Giuliana.
SKATEZONE - PRESIDENTS DAY TOURNAMENT
2/15/08: 1-3 Loss vs. Butler Valley
The Raiders lost a tight game that was 1-1 in the third period. A bounce the other way
easily alters this game. Eddie Pyskaty had the gaol for the Raiders.
2/16/08: 2-4 Loss vs. Mon. Valley Thunder
The Raiders out shot and out chanced their opponents, but could not get the go ahead goal in
a game that was 1-1 midway through the third. The Raiders showed their heart, playing hard until the final whistle.
2/17/08: 6-1Win vs. Raleigh
The Raiders continued to play hard winning their final game. Nick Peras received "Player
of the Game" scoring two gaols and playing with stiches from an injury the night before.

The Varsity Red, with a break in their favor could easily have been in the championship game,
